FutureShock Tag Title Match: The Models def. Vitamun C to become the NEW FutureShock Tag Team Champions
Simon Valour and Damon Leigh was a draw via double pin. The FutureShock faithful were giving their long time hero a fitting farewall when out came the Supreme Chancellor Greg "The Truth" Lambert. Lambert said that as a member of the media world Valour would be well placed to serve the Authority and offered Valour a spot in the Hierarchy. Valour refused saying he's continue to do things the right way in and out of the ring. This prompted Lambert to ask "You're right handed. Aren't you?" With That Dave Breaks and Cyanide stormed the ring and attacked Valour, attempting to break his arm ruin his career as a writer. Damon Leigh returned to the ring with Danny Sensation and Jack Gallagher to make the save.
Danny Sensation and Jack Gallagher def. Cyanide and Dave Breaks
FutureShock and XWA Heavyweight Championship Match: The Ascension Alex Shane def. Raynaldo to retain both Championships but not without help from Lambert and his acolytes.
An outraged Raynaldo made one more challenge to Shane which was refused as The Ascension no longer HAD to give Raynaldo a rematch of any kind. Then a deal was made, Shane Versus Raynaldo for the FutureShock Championship one last time. If Ray fails to win to match he will have to retire from Wrestling! Raynaldo agreed saying that winning the Championship back for FutureShock was worth the risk... but then added a stipulation of his own. There will be a special enforcer at ringside for this final match between The Ascension and Raynaldo...out stormed XWA's Johnny Phere and the two hero's stood side by side as the Authority slithered out of the venue!
•Futureshock 46 Tomorrow Night!:
After a two month absence FutureShock will return to Stockport’s Masonic Guildhall on Sunday July 18th for FutureShock 46, but this time we will be bringing more questions than answers!
FutureShock’s last trip to Stockport ended in uproar as everyone’s favourite Man of the Match - Raynaldo was cheated out of what many believe was inevitable victory in his FutureShock Title challenge against reigning champion Alex Shane. Shane was disqualified after delivering a low-blow in full view of the match official. This was met with anger and frustration from Raynaldo, the current FutureShock Trophy Holder, who berated Shane and accused him of taking the cop-out option as the former “Showstealer” couldn’t cut it at a main event level anymore.
Alex’ response was to point out how many sacrifices he’s made both physically and emotionally to make it to the top of British Wrestling and that Raynaldo couldn’t even begin to comprehend what it takes, but maybe he could learn something of sacrifice. “Choose” said Shane as he gestured to the FutureShock roster members who had flocked to ringside to see firsthand as Shane was over thrown. The offer was simple if Raynaldo could choose one willing friend to stand up and take Shane’s vicious Big Boot then he would be granted a rematch. Everyone at ringside jumped at the chance to take one for the team and earn Ray his shot however Ray was loathe to choose. It was at this point that “It Girl” Melanie Price sauntered to the ring and got in Shane’s ear. What happened next shocked the crowd into action. Alex declared if Raynaldo wouldn’t make a decision then he would. “Swedish Tigress” he demanded. “Get your arse in this ring right now!”
Raynaldo refused to accept the offer and tried to leave, however he was stopped by his friends as the FutureShock Roster bundled him onto the floor and the Swedish Tigress jumped into the ring ready and willing to do what was asked of her.
Raynaldo cried out in frustration and the hushed crowd looking on in shock as Alex delivered the knock out kick and sealed the pact. The FutureShock Champion and his Hierarchy left the FutureShock Roster to pick up the pieces and attempted to leave the building only to be met with the invading force of XWA’s Johnny Phere! Phere along with Raynaldo and the rest of the roster destroyed the Hierarchy as Shane made his frantic escape.
Click here http://www.youtube.com/marvmarv100#p/u/2/jz3v9r_5Eqs for footage of Phere’s rampage through FutureShock Wrestling!
All this meant that Raynaldo has been awarded a return shot at the FutureShock Championship for July 18th!
However Raynaldo was also a participant, and the victor, in a four way match at the inaugural Adrenaline Pro-Wrestling show which was held in Nottingham on June 20th. By winning the match at Adrenaline Raynaldo has earned himself a shot at the XWA Heavyweight title! The XWA Championship is currently held by Alex Shane, but is being defending the night before FutureShock 46 at XWA Vendetta at the Carlton Club in Morecombe! Shane will be defending his XWA Title against none other than JOHNNY PHERE! After talks between FutureShock and XWA management and as the first move in the growing coalition of BWC affiliated Wrestling Promotions it has been decided that Raynaldo will cash in his XWA Title opportunity at FutureShock 46!
Meaning that this double header weekend of action could end in one of two ways!
If Phere is successful in his bid to dethrone Shane then former allies will go head to head as Raynaldo will face the Psychotic Warrior! This will mean that Raynaldo will face Shane at a future date.
OR…
For the first time in FutureShock history two Championships will be defended in one place as Raynaldo will Face Shane for BOTH the FutureShock Championship and the XWA Heavyweight Title!

XWA Heavyweight Championship Match/FutureShock Championship: Raynaldo vs. Johnny Phere/Alex Shane
In a match that has been almost 10 months in the making former Sidekick will face off against his Mentor as the Number 1 Doogooder SPARX takes on Dirk Feelgood! The DFG returned from a short absence from FutureShock last October to help watch out for his former Protégé as Sparx faced Stixx in the 2009 Trophy Tournament Semi Final.
However Dirk turned on Sparx claiming that the sidekick was over stepping his bounds by making a go at a singles career. Feelgood then claimed that Sparx would have to beat him to prove he was ready. Something that Sparx managed in November, but Dirk dismissed it as a fluke, so Sparx faced his mentor again…and again earned the win. An enraged Feelgood then went on a rampage and challenged Sparx to a best of 5 series with Sparx’ previous wins giving him a 2 – 0 advantage. Feelgood has since pulled out all the stops and every underhand tactic he can muster to cheat his way to the current 2 – 2 scoreline. And now it’s here! No more excuses, no more cop-outs and no turning back for this friendship as Dirk Feelgood and Sparx face off one last time!
Dirk Feelgood vs. Sparx
It seems that during our negotiations with XWA that we have been misinformed by members of the Authority and been made into unwitting pawns in their bid to dominate British wrestling. Having agreed to and signed on Raynaldo receiving his XWA title shot on Sunday 18th July we have now been informed that the upcoming contest between Alex Shane and Johnny Phere in Morecambe on the 17th is a non-title match!
The Authority have used the excuse of the predetermined Title defence to lock out any suggestion or hope that the encounter between Shane and Phere will be for the XWA Title.
This however means we can confirm that the main event of FutureShock 46 will be the XWA Champion Alex Shane Versus The Man of the Match – Raynaldo! After everything Raynaldo has been through at the hands of Shane and his Hierarchy there’s no doubt that this will be welcome news, as FutureShock’s MVP is itching to get his hands on a man he claims just can’t cut it anymore!
Simon Bam-Bam Valour’s Open Challenge
Having been absent from FutureShock for a number of events now regular fans have been asking to the whereabouts of one Simon Valour!
Well now we can confirm that one of the FutureShock originals, or Generation 1 as we like to call them, shining lights has been absent due to suffering a terrible injury… Simon Valour has recently developed a real life! After dedicating years of his young life to Wrestling particularly FutureShock and our good friends GPW it seems Simon has been offered an opportunity to follow a career in journalism. Anyone that knows Si will instantly know that the well-spoken and intelligent lad from Liverpool is infinitely suited to such a career and we, and I’m sure others, would like to wish him all the best in his future endeavours!
With that being said Simon Valour HAS agreed to one more match, for the promotion, building and fans that started this entire crazy ride we call Wrestling for him. At his own request Si will compete in an open invitation match on July 18th. Any FutureShock or GPW wrestler that would like to face him, but who he HASN’T faced before is invited to step up and face one of the hardest hitting and best loved members of the FutureShock Roster.
Also set to appear: Danny Sensation, Dave Breaks, FutureShock Tag Team Champions Vitamin C, Blond Jovi and more!

•Futureshock 44 Tonight!:
The last 10 months of action have seen a conflict explode within FutureShock as burgeoning tradition and one mans twisted view of progress have gone to war.
August 2009 saw FutureShock celebrate 5 years of excellent live events with a show that featured key rematches from notable FutureShock events and a series of old faces in attendance to help mark the important milestone. One of these faces was the founder of FutureShock Wrestling “the ShowStealer” Alex Shane. Having addressed the crowd at the beginning of the night and speaking of how proud he was the day Futureshock rang its first bell fans in attendance were surprised to see him make his way out after the final match of the evening as Dave Rayne spoke to the fans about his pride in the continuing improveent of FutureShock and all its performers.
In keeping with the spirit of the night Alex spoke a little about his relationship with FutureShock and Dave and how Dave had worked to lead the promotion over the lst 5 years. Alex invited other tudents of his, Dave Breaks and Stixx out and together they presented Rayne with a cheque for £5000!
It was all a ploy however, as Shane, Stixx and Breaks then jumped Rayne, giving him a brutal beat down that involved wrapping a steel chain around his neck and hanging him from the top rope. The locker-room emptied but the valiant charge was too late to Save Rayne from a serious neck injury and he’s been absent from active FutureShock competition since.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiZng6Vyd-g
The Hierarchy then proceeded to unveil their masterplan for FutureShock, claiming that it was failing in Alex’ vision of how the promotion should be the Hierarchy recruited members and set about tearig down FutureShock piece by piece. Entering Stxx into the Trophy Tournament and having the Heavyweight House of Pain destroy his way to the November finals and using then Champion Sam Bailey’s own fire and desire to take down the Hierarchy to back him into a corner and make him face Shane after already defeating Breaks moments before. AN epic battle ensued that again saw the entire roster come to ringside to help support their champion, friend, rival and sometime enemy take on the threat of the Hierarchy!
Alex Shane proved just too much on that night however and the FutureShock Championship fell into Hierarchy hands.
Main Event - FutureShock Championship Match: Raynaldo V “The Showstealer” Alex Shane ©
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eRGuak5t6k...feature=related
But it was FutureShock’s Man of the Match Raynaldo who stepped up to the plate next and fought the battle of his life as he denied Stixx from claiming the FutureShock Trophy for the Hierarchy. Winning the Trophy earned Raynaldo a shot at the FutureShock Championship and has kept the hopes of the FutureShock Faithful alive.
Now after months of mind games the moment is finally here, as last month Raynaldo became only the second man in FutureShock history to pin the Showstealer! An act that has guaranteed Raynaldo’s opportunity will be given in the Main Event on May 23RD!
With Rayne and Bailey both gone since their destruction at the hands of the Hierarchy its all up to Raynaldo to stop the masterplan in its tracks and bring FutureShock gold back home!
Dirk Feelgood V Sparx IV - The Quest for Peace
After returning to FutureShock towards the end of 09 it seemed the DFG was on a mission to prove that one time protege and sidekick, the ever resilient Sparx just wasn't up to the task of going it alone. And should go back to towing the line and doing things Dirk's way.
But After siding with the Hierarchy in the on going troubles it was Dirk who ended up learning a lesson in just what it is Sparx can do.
Enraged at the upset loss Dirk demanded a rematch and was once again shown up. However things didn't end there, as Dirk was unable to accept that Sparx could best him "in the long run" and a best of 5 challenge was made, with Sparx already 2 - 0 up. Last month saw Dirk cheat his way to victory and claw back a pinfall making the score 2 - 1 in Sparx favour.
Now we hit round 4 with Sparx just one 3 count away from finally being out of his former mentors shadow.
Will this be the day Sparx finally gets to move on? Or will it be Dirk who leaves victorious?
Tag Team Championship Match: Vitamin C Versus Stixx and LJ Heron
With the Hierarchy still on their quest to control FutureShock it seems the Tag Team Championships are in their sites.
hierarchy big gun Stixx has been tasked with taking the Championship away from Vitamin C and has obviously taken this opportunity to increase the Hierarchys influence over his own students as House of Pain graduate LJ heron has been recruited to partner The Heavyweight House of Pain. LJ, normally a good humoured and well liked member of the UK wrestling scene has a choice to make. Will he sell his soul to the Hierarchy and Alex Shane in order to impress his mentor?
Vitamin C, when asked about their defence of the Titles and the FutureShock name, have been heared to say they are "Well Up For It!"
Also Set To Appear: FutureShock Tag Team Champions Vitamin C, Zack "Diamond" Gibson, The Heavyweight House of Pain Stixx, Danny Sensation, The Swedish Tigress and all the stars of the FutureShock Training School

•Futureshock 43 Tomorrow Night!:
On Sunday 28th March FutureShock Wrestling is pleased to return to its home at the Stockport Masonic Guildhall for yet another action packed night as the North-West's best and brightest young talent give their all to gain glory and recognition.
FutureShock's first announcement isnt who IS in attendance but who ISNT as the Hierarchy's enforcer the Heavyweight House of Pain, STIXX will not be in attendance on March 28th. With his closest and most dominating ally gone how will FutureShock Champion and Hierarchy Mastermind Alex Shane react? Never short on schemes but without his big gun what will Shane do to keep FutureShock's Golden Boy and Man-of-The-Match RAYnaldo at bay? Its Tradition for the Trophy Tournament winner to face the Champion on our May event but with Alex Shane on a quest to bring FutureShock down will the Number One Contender bide his time? or strike whilst the net is open?
Tag Team Title Match: Vitamin C (Champions) vs. Blond Jovi w/ Stallion
Vitamin C are widely regarded as the North's hottest rising tag outfit and the upset win in November last year gained them status over the already impressive FutureShock Tag Division. With Teams Like Lethal Dose, The Heavy-Hitters and The Models all waiting in the wings for a shot at Tag Gold it was decided FutureShock would look outside for contenders until an official Contendership can be announced.
One team name that kept coming up when enquiries were made was the rising XWA team of Axl Rage and JD Sassoon, already affiliated with the XWA Champion The RockStar Spud, and their manager Stallion, the duo are looking to add some gold of their own to the groups awards case.
Will the unknown quantity of Axl and JD offset the unpredictable nature of the Cooper and Clinch? Will Blond Jovi debut at Number One on the North's premier Tag Division? Tune in on March 28th pop-pickers and find out for yourselves!
Sparx vs. Dirk Feelgood
All aboard for round 3 as the self-destruction of the once highly popular Dynamic Duo continues. An enraged Feelgood, now calling himself The DFG, still feels that despite TWO wins over him that former Protege and Sidekick Sparx hasnt proven himself worthy to begin his solo career.
Dirk insists that both losses to the Number One Doogooder were flukes, possibly even cheats, and he is adamant he will earn back the two Losses and go on better! Therefore Dirk has issued a Best of 5 Challenge (conveniently forgetting his Best of 3 challenge made in January) with the score already 2 - 0 to the ever popular Sparx only one win is needed to finally be able to move on with his career.
Will lightning strike thrice or is Feelgood right, and has this all been nothing but blind luck?
Swedish Tigress vs. "The Lancashire Terrier" April Davids
Making real waves individually in Women's Wrestling here in the UK two of FutureShock's Top Female stars go head to head as the highly Popular Swedish Tigress goes one on one with the rough and ready April Davids. When these two hard-hitting ladies clash it really will be an intense affair!
Raynaldo vs. Danny Hope w/ Melanie Price
Current Number One Contender, and last remaining hope Championship hope for FutureShock, Raynaldo as been urged over the last few weeks to cash in his title match against Alex Shane as earlier as possible as the FutureShock faithful desperately try and slow the oncoming advance of the Hierarchy. However its traditional for the reigning FutureShock Trophy Holder to cash in his Shot at the May Event and Raynaldo is determined to stand true to tradition in the face of the Hierarchy's attempts to undermine what FutureShock has built over the last 5 years.
Therefore Raynaldo has been placed in a match with one half of the Best Looking Tag Team in the World, The Models: Danny Hope. With the hIT-Girl Melanie Price at his side and with a string of successful wins in both Singles as well as tag contests all over the UK and beyond Hope is more than a mere speed bump on Raynaldo's journey to the FutureShock Championship...he could well prove to be a stunningly built road block!
Also Set to Appear: FutureShock Champion Alex Shane. Chris Egan, Lovely Hames, Zack Diamond and all the emerging talent from the FutureShock Training School.

•Futureshock 42 Sunday Night!:
With the big freeze behind us its time to heat things up as FutureShock Wrestling kicks off its new decade with more of its unique brand of hard hitting, heart stopping family entertainment as we head to Stockport Masonic Guildhall on Sunday 31st January!
The new year sees a new Champion as Hierarchy Leader “the Showstealer” Alex Shane twisted his way into a confrontation with FutureShock’s Longest reigning Champion “SuperStylin’” Sam Bailey. The epic encounter that saw the entire locker-room empty so they could witness at ringside for themselves ended when the valiant Bailey finally fell to the Showstealer’s schemes.
All hope is not lost however as the end of 2009 saw FutureShock hit back and capture Tag Team Gold and gain the Official Number One Status. Vitamin C, perhaps wrestling’s most energetic duo brought the Tag Titles home in an intense 4-Corners match and the ever popular Raynaldo used his fancy footwork to topple the mighty Stixx and earn himself the 2009 FutureShock Trophy!
As Always Raynaldo will be presented with his trophy in a ceremony on the first event of the year as he begins his quest as FutureShock’s chosen in the battle against the Hierarchy.
FutureShock Championship Match: Alex Shane © vs. Danny Sensation
After being denied an opportunity to stand for himself against Shane at Decembers charity event in Swinton (Shane refused to appear on an event that would see his fee donated to charity) Sensation rose to the occasion and won an over-the-rope Battle Royale to earn an undisputable shot at The Showstealer.
Will this be another opportunity for Alex Shane to prove the strength of his hold over FutureShock, or will the up-and-comer shine through in his moment of glory?
Team Blossom vs. Melanie Price and April Davids
FutureShock’s prodigal daughters return to take on the new top duo in FutureShock’s Women’s Division. With a wealth of experience gained from their recent time in Ohio Valley Wrestling the Blossom’s are going to be tough to beat, but this is definitely Price and David’s turf so both teams are going to have to bring something special to the table if they’re going to start 2010 with a win!
Simon Valour vs. Jack Toxic
Dangerous Damon Leigh vs.Cyanide
Things are definitely going to get a little rough when these two dominant tag teams face off against each other in singles competition. Hard hitting Simon Valour will take on the wily Jack Toxic whilst technical excellence faces off against raw power as DDL aces off against Cyanide. Both these matches are first’s as these 4 men haven’t faced off in singles competition before!
Also Set to Appear: The Heavyweight House of Pain STIXX, Sparx, Chris Egan and Lovely Hames, Zack Diamond and many more!

•Futureshock 41 Tonight!:
Traditionally FutureShock’s Trophy Tournament Final, held in November, marks the end of our year but in 2009 we have decided to add one last end of year date and host a show at our latest venue The Swinton Guildhall. Another tradition we hope to push is to make this final event of the year a charity event to support a local cause.
The Switon Guild Hall is located on Hospital Road mere yards away from the former site of the Manchester Royal Children’s Hospital. The Site was closed earlier in the year and the hospital was moved to a new state of the art site in Manchester City Centre, however local businesses and fund-raisers have dedicated a lot of time into raising money to help fund the move and new site. FutureShock feels that the continued support of the new Hospital is essential and therefore would like to donate all proceeds from the event to Children’s Hospital. The charity itself is registered under Charity Number 1049274.
FutureShock’s November event saw a shocking turn of events with Alex Shane using Sam Baileys own words against him, manoeuvring the 19th month-long Champion into facing him after already wining a hard-fought bout against Hierarchy member David Breaks. Shane entered the ring and battled an exhausted Bailey for the Championship in a match that saw the entire locker room spill out to support Bailey.
All hope for FutureShock seemed lost as one final act of defiance ended with a broken Bailey being pinned and the biggest prize in FutureShock fell into the Hands of the leader of the Hierarchy.
The Match between Sam Bailey and Alex Shane is available to watch Free on FutureShock’s youtube channel: www.youtube.com/futureshockmedia
Things, as they say, are always darkest before the dawn and a small ray of hope exists for the FutureShock faithful, mere moments after Alex Shane took the Championship The Heavy-Weight House of Pain Stixx took the mic and confronted the watching Raynaldo, proclaiming it was time for them to face off and for the Hierarchy to take not only the Championship but the FutureShock Trophy and with it the Number One Contendership creating a possible vacuum between The Champion and the rest of the roster. However with the backing of the roster and a fire lit under him by the departing Champion, Raynaldo managed the almost unthinkable and really did pull of a Match of the Day as the Giant Killer took it the Stixx with all the passion he could muster and took home the 2009 FutureShock Trophy and the number one contendership; both of which will be officially awarded to him at the Traditional Ceremony at FutureShock first event of the new decade in early 2010!
Bailey wasn’t the only roster member to suffer at the hands of Alex Shane and the Hierarchy. Earlier in the evening The Hierarchy announced that they were looking to award ANOTHER BWC Scholarship, similar to the one held by David Breaks, and that they’s devised a way of testing is someone has the drive needed to take the opportunity: A Slam Challenge.
This proved to be nothing more as an excuse to bully some junior members of the FutureShock Roster as Danny Sensation and Jermian Eventer received slam after slam after slam on the hard unforgiving ring. Jermian cried off first as he reached a limit to his suffering which should have meant Danny Sensation as the de facto winner of the contest. The Hierarchy had other plans and decided to test Sensation further claiming he hadn’t done enough to earn his reward. TEM SLAMS was declared the minimum amount and the Hierarchy proceeded to mug Sensation in the ring until Bailey arrived to stop the torture.
Two weeks later, his wounds healed and with no Scholarship materialising Danny Sensation has requested a chance to redeem his pride against Alex Shane and put forward a challenge. Alex Shane has accepted and claims he will gladly put the Championship on the line to “give the hopeless idiot some real incentive to actually show up”
The First Match for Swinton’s Charity match will be:
FutureShock Championship Match: Alex Shane © vs. Danny Sensation
After months of issues between the two "The It Girl" Melanie Price may have found the weapon she needs to put down The Swedish Tigress: Price approached FutureShock management with a challenge that was eagerly accepted by the Tigress: Melanie Price and The Diamond Doll April Davids in a tag match against the Tigress and a partner of her choosing.
It didnt take the Tigress long to find a partner however as the Tigress went straight to the top with her choice of partner. Heading to Swinton as a special guest of FutureShock PIPPA L'VINN will be teaming with The Tigress!!
Womens Tag Match: Melanie Price and April Davids vs. The Swedish Tigress and Pippa L'Vinn
In a match up that many have speculated about for a long time now FutureShock and Northern Wrestling stalwart Dangerous Damon Leigh will face off against an opponent that's said to have a bright future in British Westling, Jack Toxic. Toxic is one half of the former Tag Team Champions Lethal Dose but is no stranger to singles competition either. Both these competitors have a penchant for strong mat based offence and this will surely be a masterclass in wrestling technique!
Dangerous Damon Leigh vs. Jack Toxic

•Futureshock 40:
Sunday 8th November 2009 will see Stockport Masonic Guildhall once again play host to one of the most important nights in British Wrestling as FutureShock Wrestling presents the 2009 FutureShock Trophy Tournament Final! Previous years have seen “Northern Uproar” Dom Travis take the Trophy in 2006 and move on to be FutureShock’s inaugural Champion, “SuperStylin’” Sam Bailey was the second holder of the Trophy defeating Clinton Steele in 2007 and became the second and current FutureShock Champion. Dave Rayne became the third holder of the Trophy in 2008 and now in 2009 we have the ultimate battle for the Trophy as FutureShock’s Man of the Match Raynaldo steps onto the field to face the seemingly unstoppable Stixx!
Raynaldo has become something of a giant killer as he worked he earned his shot by going the full distance in the Last Chance Saloon in August, defeated the monstrous Cyanide in the first round, toppled the gigantic Nordic Warrior in the semi-final stages and is now set the face the colossal Stixx in the single most important match of his career.
Stixx has made it his mission to gut FutureShock from the inside out, tearing away at the heart and soul of the roster. First being part of the Vicious beat down of Dave Rayne at the 5th Anniversary event in August then moving on to annihilating up and comer Jermain Eventer in the first round of the tournament then crushing the hopes of Sparx in last month’s Semi Final match ups. With The Hierarchy at his back The HeavyWeight House of Pain is seemingly unstoppable as he furthers the Hierarchy’s plans to bring FutureShock to its knees. With the winner of the Tournament granted number one contendership this could be the beginning of the end for FutureShock or the birth of a new hope for the FutureShock Roster and Fans.
FutureShock Trophy Tournament Final: Man of the Match Raynaldo vs. The HeavyWeight Hosue of Pain STIXX
It’s almost considered an inevitability of the Wrestling Business that if you’re brave enough to step into the ring as an official you’re going to end up getting hurt in some way. The very nature of the sport comes with inherent risks from being in the thick of the action. On occasion though a situation arises where the “accidental” nature of an incident with officials is called into question and generally these issue are dealt with behind closed doors. This year how ever has seen a series of incidents in FutureShock escalate into open attacks on referees by certain members of the roster. Steps were taken to ensure the resolution of the incident in question all with which resulted in one former official Mr. Michael Fitz-Gerald being removed from active duty. At his own insistence Mr.Fitz-Gerald continued to attend events as a paying fan, his passion for wrestling and love of FutureShock were unhampered by the actions of a few men… until he was again attacked: openly and viciously. As he was a paying fan and a member of our audience FutureShock took instant steps to rectify the situation and the Roster member in question was fired for his actions.
This however has been seen by some in the roster of one more example of FutureShock management under appreciating the roster and bowing to behind the scenes political pressure.
Last month whilst a public apology was being given to Mr.Fitz-Gerald int he ring Chris Egan and Lovely Hames made an appearance. Egan, having taken offence at the situation claimed that whilst fans sat in their seats and stayed out of the action everything was fine Mr.Fitz-Greald had taken himself from behind the safety of the guardrails and placed himself squarely in the ring. The man stood in the ring wasn’t a “fan” and wasn’t even an Official anymore. Which could only make him one thing… FAIR GAME. Egan then issued a challenge, if Michael Fitz-Gerald really wanted to make a stand on the treatment of officials he could do it in the ring against Lovely Hames!

•Futureshock 39 Show Information:
Sunday October 11th FutureShock Wrestling will host its 39th event, this time at Macclesfield’s Morton Jubilee Hall, and its shaping up to be heated event as the Hierarchy continues to make it’s presence felt at FutureShock.
September saw the 4th Annual Trophy Tournament begin and what an explosive start it has been. The wide open field has been narrowed down to only 4 men, each more than capable of going the distance.
Raynaldo went through to the Semi-finals with a huge win against the hulking Cyanide, but will the magic continue for FutureShock’s Man Of The Match? Is he shaping up to be something of a giant killer as he faces the 2nd Semi-Finalist the tower of rage that is The Nordic Warrior! The Voyage of Destruction has already left Jimmy O’Shea with a hang-over he won’t soon shake off. Will Taskers chosen man continue to bulldoze his way to the final? Only those at the Morton Jubilee Hall will know for sure!
Another FutureShock star on a roll as of late is Sparx, One half of the Doogooders and often seen as the sidekick of the pair Sparx has been on something of a journey of late to break out and find himself. Taking home the FutureShock Trophy will definitely give him the platform he needs to really show what hes made of. But first he has to make it past possibly the most frightening entrant into the Tournament.. STIXX. The Heavyweight House of Pain made it clear last month when he demolished Jermaine Eventer that the Hierarchy are here to take FutureShock and tear it down and holding the Trophy is a definite step in that direction. Not only is it the gateway to the FutureShock Title but traditionally the Trophy Holder is seen by all at FutureShock as a figure head for the coming year. Possesing the Trophy, as well as The Pack’s Tag Team titles is a major step in holding ALL the cards.
Trophy Tournament Semi-Finals:

Sparx vs. Stixx

•Futureshock 38: Sunday 13th September - 4th Annual FutureShock Trophy Tournament:
On Sunday 13th September FutureShock will be returning to the Swinton Masonic Hall to provide yet another action picked night as FutureShock presents its 38th live event, the first event since the extremely well received 5th Anniversary event. FutureShock 38 will also play host the first round of the 4th Annual FutureShock Trophy Tournament!
The 5th Anniversary Event was an exciting and action packed night that saw old favourites and new faces alike come storming into the Guildhall to show everyone just what it is about FutureShock that makes it an amazing and truly unique taste of Professional Wrestling.
But despite the party atmosphere and high spirits throughout the night it all came crashing down as the night drew to a close. Alex Shane, FutureShock’s Founding Father, had earlier made his presence felt by making a short speech about FutureShock, the people and ideals behind the Promotion and by announcing his continued support and future involvement and announced that as part of the British Wrestling Council FutureShock Students were eligible for Apprenticeships, which include fully subsidised training and supplements, and introduced David Brakes and his Trainer Stixx as the first official recipient of the BWC Scholarship. It seemed this spirit of goodwill was still in effect when Alex later snook out to surprise Dave Rayne, who was in the middle of giving a thankyou speech on behalf of the FutureShock Wrestlers and Staff. Alex congratulated Dave on leading FuturteShock for the lsat few years and handed him a check for £8000 to ensure that the new high standard production values for the FutureShock events could be maintained….
This however proved the be the least of the surprises The ShowStealer had in store, as he fed Rayne to Stixx and Brakes for a vicious beat down that was meant to send a message. Alex had found FutureShock wanting and was serving notice, he was going to break FutureShock and remake it in his own image. The attack on Rayne continued with Stixx taking his trademark chain and wrapping it around Rayne’s throat…and hanging him over the top rope. As the life drained from Rayne’s eyes and the fans were left in stunned outrage but a group of FutureShock Wrestlers jumped into action and came to Dave’s aid only to be betrayed by two of their number. The FutureShock Tag Team champions, The Pack (Dom Travis and Clinton Steele) joined with Alex and a new Hierarchy in British Wrestling was born. This wasn’t unanswered however as the entire remainder of the FutureShock Roster stormed the ring and friend and foe alike stood shoulder to shoulder as FutureShock Champion Sam Bailey served notice. If The Hierarchy want FutureShock then they’ll have to take FutureShock.
As a result of these events Dave Rayne has suffered damage to the nerves in his neck which has resulted in major discomfort and a loss of feeling in his left arm. He’s been advised by Doctors not to wrestle for the foreseeable future. Taking this under advisement Dave has decided to attend all his already booked dates around the UK but FutureShock are refusing to book him for events until his injury is rehabbed.
Members of the Hierarchy have been in touch with the New FutureShock Management but no official word has been giving to any future involvement from the group.
Trophy Tournament 2009:
The FutureShock trophy Tournament has over the last 3 years become a focal point of the FutureShock Calendar and is considered by many to be a true highlight of British Wrestling. Winning the Trophy grants the holder Number One Contender Status for the FutureShock Championship, and as two of the three previous Trophy Holders have gone on to capture the FutureShock Title Belt its considered a definite sign of who to watch over the coming months. The Tournament is held over 3 months, with each round of the tournament being contested on a different show until the Final in November. This year the Tournament will be held in three different Venues the First Round will be held on September 13th at the Swinton Masonic Hall, the Semi Finals will be held on October 11th at the Macclesfield Morton Jubilee Hall and the Final will be held on November 8th at the Stockport Masonic Guildhall. Entrants into this years Tournament will be announced leading upto the event:
Raynaldo
After missing the early part of the year due to commitments elsewhere (the football crazy geezer is now fully trained and employed as a Fire-fighter) FutureShock’s official Man of the Match has returned with fire and is set to light the tournament ablaze (pun intended) Will the winner of the Last Chance Saloon be able to play the odds again? Or will the final whistle blow with him 1-0 down?
The Nordic Warrior
The Voyage of Destruction fell in the opening round of last year’s tournament to the eventual Tournament Winner Dave Rayne, one of only two people to have EVER pinned the Nordic Warrior. Now a year later, once more accompanied by Wrestling’s only Attorney-at-Law Alan Alan Alan Tasker, the Warrior will once more be planning on showing the world why it is every other Wrestler in the Locker Room stays clear of this monstrous beast. Will any of the other entrants have what it takes to survive a Nordic Landing?
FutureShock Title Match: "SuperStylin'" Sam Bailey vs. "The 5 o'clock Shocker" Chris Egan
Fans attending FutureShock 38 will be treated to seeing FutureShock Champion “SuperStylin’” Sam Bailey defend his belt against one time friend and now long time annoying B*stard “The 5 o’clock Shocker” Chris Egan. Egan has managed twice in recent months to gain tag match victories over the Champion and has therefore seen fit to challenge Bailey. The Champion has gladly accepted and the match is now set. No one can deny that Bailey has seen off bigger and stronger threats but a more devious opponent cannot be found. Will the Crown Prince of FutureShock remain untouchable or does Egan have the right trick for the job? The only way to know for sure is to watch events unfold on September 13th at the Swinton Guildhall.
Also Set to appear: Sparx, Vitamin C, Cyanide, Jack Toxic, Melanie Price, The Swedish tigress and many more!!!!

•HUGE Futureshock 5th Anniversary Show Title match announced:
SAM BAILEY vs. CLINTON STEELE
The 2nd Futureshock Trophy Tournament Final delivered just as much action and intensity as its predecessor, and provided Sam Bailey the stepping stone to prove his worth in Futureshock, and go on to dethrone the seemingly unbeatable, Dom Travis. But to do this, he had to beat the man who was looked upon by many, as Travis’ “Hired Muscle”.
Both men entered the match with everything on the line, most importantly the shot at the Champion. And that night, it was Bailey that earned a hard fought victory, to finally give the fans the match they wanted. Neither man has met in singles competition since, but now Steele gets to face Bailey once more. With more on the line in this match, can the man from the Steel City take down the Champion and become the new Futureshock Champion? Or will “Super” Sam hang on to the gold?
•The 5 O'Clock Shocker" Chris Egan vs Dave Rayne added to Futureshock's 5th Anniversary Show:
Once again, former friends turn bitter enemies, as the original members of Retro Pop square off one more time. After a tense chase, that saw fans wait 6 months for Rayne to finally get his hands on Egan, a man who had cost Dave his shot at the Futureshock Championship and who had put him through a year of hell, the Guildhall watched as Dave Rayne drilled Egan from the top rope through a table below. Fate and the Futureshock fans had provided Dave the opportunity he needed, to get back at the man who had cost him all he had wanted, and to be crowned the winner of the match that was voted 2007 UKFF Match of the Year.
At Futureshock 35, Chris Egan, with the help of Jack Domino, managed to steal a victory from the new Retro Pop consisting of Rayne along with Futureshock Champion; Sam Bailey. After a fluke accident, Egan took advantage of the knocked out Champion for the 3 count. But this win wasn't enough to stop Egan requesting one more match, with the man he used to call his best friend. After two years, these two men finally go toe to toe once more, in a match that is certainly not to be missed!

•Futureshock Wrestling 37 - 16/08/09 - MASSIVE 5th Year Anniversary:
This Is It! After months of planning and speculation the biggest celebration of the year has arrived as the north's number one training school and promotion reaches a true milestone in its continuing legacy, of exciting, family friendly, high quality wrestling entertainment!
On Sunday August 16th, Futureshock Wrestling celebrates five years as a true powerhouse of northern wrestling, with an extravaganza of superb wrestling contests. The linchpin of the nights events are a series of rematches from key events over the past five years, as we recreate contests that made stars of some of Futureshock's top talents. With the events of Futureshock 36 and the Shockwave Gauntlet fresh in everyone's, then these old wounds have definitely been reopened!
It is with great pleasure, that we can now announce the first two matches, and if this isn't enough to wet your appetite, we can also reveal the first handful of names for the annual Futureshock Wrestling Last Chance Saloon! With all the matches providing the winner a spot in the Fourth Annual Futureshock Trophy Tournament, this is where faces, old and new can make that leap to the top, providing they are the last man standing!
"The Northern Uproar" Dom Travis vs "Dangerous" Damon Leigh
The first Futureshock Trophy Tournament saw fans finally witness a match up that has long been talked about. Having been set up and then cancelled three times over two different promotions, some people were willing to cry shenanigans and the finger was squarely pointed at Dom Travis. The whispers grew to chanting as it soon became obvious, the mighty Dom Travis feared Damon Leigh. In what was a truly brutal main event Travis managed to get the win after a thunderous Northern Lights Bomb off the top rope that set the tone for every Futureshock Trophy Tournament Final ever since.
At Futureshock 36, The Pack once again failed to appear. Having finally got what they wanted in the Futureshock Tag Team Titles, they were happy to sit back and allow the team of Joey Hayes and Danny Hope; known as The Models, do the dirty work for them. But even before the message from the matchmakers had made it to Travis, DDL had already managed to get his warning to the former champion. Leigh has promised that the actions of that night won't repeat themselves, but can the Northern Uproar prove him wrong?
"BAM BAM" Si Valour vs Jack Domino
Sometimes the best of friends can make the biggest of rivals, and few can say they have ever experienced the level of intense rivalry these two share. Arriving at Futureshock on the same day, from the same city, Jack and Si have matched each other every step of the way until they finally broke into the Futureshock Main roster. For a while Valour's awe inspiring hard-hitting offence gained him a lot of momentum, even managing to get himself the first shot at Dom Travis' inaugural Championship reign. This didn't sit well with the jealous Jack Domino and a heated feud built up that culminated in a brutal Dog Collar Chain Match in 2007.
The pair last met in a match at last years Lotto Thunder Tournament, and though they weren't chained together, the two once again provided a brutal affair. Jack Domino managed to pick up the win, and progress to win the Lotto Thunder. Can lightning strike twice, or will the man from "Sefton Park" Lariat his way to a "Super Victory"?
Also on the card:
The Annual Futureshock Last Chance Saloon
Faces old and new will rock the Guildhall, as some of the top contenders from Futureshock's past, present and future will go head to head in an over-the-top-rope rumble to see just who the best Futureshock graduate is. We can exclusively announce the first three names to put their hat on the table are...
"Lovely" Hamish Campbell
After months at the side of his mentor, Chris Egan, can Hamish finally make a name for himself on the biggest stage?
Jimmy O'Shea
After a prolonged boozing streak, will Futureshock's resident drunk be around for last orders? Or will the bell toll too early?
"The 15 Year Old Powerhouse" Jamie Flint
Making his return to the Guildhall, making time during his Summer break, the GCSE Celebrity will attempt to J15 his way into the history books!

FutureShock management would like to thank all the wrestlers and fans in attendance at last night's event. After a huge set-back with the hired ring and PA system it was truly humbling to see the dedication from everyone that meant that the roster pulled together, many of them in their full-gear, to attempt to brake the World Record for setting up a Professional Wrestling Ring.
Unfortunately the attempt failed but spirits in the crowd remained high as the Wrestlers did their best to entertain those in attendance as everyone pulled out all the stops to ensure the show went ahead that night.
And go ahead it did, with an offer from FutureShock Management "if after all the wait those in attendance felt like the show itself wasnt worth the ticket fee a full refund would be given to anyone that asked for it."
No one left the venue prematurely and no one asked for a refund.
For those interested in such things the issue with the ring was as follows:
at 12 noon on sunday the van carrying the ring for the EWW show and towing a trailer with the FutureShock equipment was stopped by the police almost 90 minutes away from Macclesfield and taken to a weigh-station.
at 1.30 pm FutureShock management were contacted to be told that the van was carrying almost 3 tonnes more than its legal limit. Prudence dictated that the best course of action was to unhook the very heavy trailer as this would ensure at least one of the 2 effected shows would go ahead, although this still left the van overweight and in need of two seperate 70 minute trips to and from the EWW venue and the Weigh-Station.
by 3 pm a van had been found and hired to collect the equipment from the weigh-station, but would take 2 hours to arrive there.
at 530 pm the decision was made to open the doors and invite the waiting fans inside with an explanation of the problem and an ETA on the ring arriving, some crowd members decided to wait in the pub but they all returned to watch the show.
6.20pm the van arrived and work began on the ring.
7.30 pm the show started almost one hour and 30 minutes late, with only one change to the card to ensure the show delivered a decent length but didn't keep the many youngsters in attendance past their bedtime.
During the Main Event FutureShock Champion Sam Bailey recieved a devastating belt shot to the head that left him bleeding heavily. After some first aid Bailey went to A&E and was checked over and all indictaions are that it was just a very nasty cut. He was glued back together and appears to be fine.
FutureShock would like to apologise for any incovenience caused but give heart-felt thanks to all the moral support given during the night. We would also like to wish Sam Bailey a speedy recovery.
