Training

Established in 2004, FutureShock has always been about creating the next wave of wrestling talent for over 19 years.

Since our humble beginnings some of the stars that have come from the school have gone on to be some of the mainstays of the British Wrestling scene, WOS Wrestling, NXT UK as well as abroad with Impact & WWE.

Along with the school, we have regular shows throughout the year to get hands on experience and see where you could be with the right training.

We reopened with Head Trainer Sam Bailey & World travelled star Chris Ridgeway as well as former NXTUK Standout Lizzy Evo to continue the legacy in the heart of Manchester City Centre.

Week Long Camps (Next intake 2025)

Want to be a professional wrestler? Wondered what it’d be like to lace up your boots and step into the ring? Hear the cheers or jeers of the fans as the referee raises your arm in victory?
Wonder no more. Here’s your chance to see for yourself.
This summer FutureShock Wrestling and the FutureShock Wrestling Performance Centre in Manchester are proud to present our first ever week long beginners’ course for pro wrestling.
Under the watchful eye of FutureShock’s head coach Sam Bailey you’ll be taken through the basic skills you need to take your first steps between those ropes.
Across three decades FutureShock has produced countless stars that have gone on to compete all across the nation and beyond, including major promotions like WWE, AEW, Impact Wrestling, Ring Of Honor and many more.
Five days of training, running from midday until 5pm. Expertly created to give you everything you need to start your journey in the squared circle.

Ridgeway Advanced Week

A world traveller, a world champion, a competitor that’s forged a hard fought reputation for himself everywhere from the UK to Japan. Chris Ridgeway is the real deal. With a dedication to conditioning and performance that’s second to none, wrestlers have travelled from far and wide to learn from the man that coined the phrase “North West Strong”.
Now for the very first time FutureShock Wrestling and the FutureShock Performance Centre are offering an opportunity to spend a week training with him. This is a chance to train for the ring in the same manner that wrestlers train in Japan. An intensive, physical dojo-style course that will challenge you, push your limits and sharpen your skills.
One of the top gaijin in Pro Wrestling Noah, Chris Ridgeway is a frequent visitor to Japan as well as a current 2x GHC Jr Heavyweight Tag Team Champion as part of STINGER. Closer to home he’s also a former PROGRESS World Champion and Wrestling Carnival Pure Wrestling Champion.
The course will run from midday to 5pm from Monday to Friday.
